Get involved

You can make a difference in the lives of many orphans and disenfranchised children by volunteering in one or more of our programs. MSOF organizes volunteer service-trips to Kogelo three times a year in the spring, summer and winter.

These opportunities provide lasting life-time experiences for volunteers and the children alike. During a week-long trip, you will not only learn about the challenges facing children in Kogelo, but will also have fun bringing change to hundreds of children. So, join us in making a difference! You will be inspired by the loving, hard-working people you meet in Africa.

And you will have opportunities to use your personal skills and talents to assist our partners improve their lives. Mama Sarah Obama Foundation Discovery Trips are truly life-changing. Volunteer travelers are responsible for the cost of their trip and airfare.
